We strive to be an additional resource in the Greater Seattle area for families who need an assist keeping their kids on the ice. If you know of a family in need, nominate them by contacting Executive Director, Ryno (ryno@seattleyouthhockeyassist.org). In your email share why you feel they deserve assistance. Prior to SYHA awarding scholarships, families will need to complete an application demonstrating a need for assistance.
SYHA's assistance is focused on supporting players who have constraints in fulfilling the financial needs to begin to play or to continue to play hockey, such us equipment, season team costs, and summer clinics/camps. SYHA provides the financial assistance directly to the youth player's association, equipment partners, and other vendors; other costs associated with a typical season may be covered and will be at the discretion of SYHA's Board of Directors and based on available funding.
